Role and tasks in the project

Bioversity´s contribution will be of importance to WP 2 and WP 3. In WP 2, it will provide a valuable input towards the identification of issues and by facilitating access to regional research networks in Europe and Asia alike. In WP 3, it will contribute to the Regional workshops and the International Meetings and in formulating the recommendations and strategies for the management and sustainable use of genetic resources. In addition, Bioversity will assist in WP 4, not only regarding the selection of informational material (info folder) but also in support of the short documentary film, thanks to its broad experience in this area, and due to its well established contacts to European and Asian partners.
